প্রয়াসী

In its endeavour to empower women, the College has formed a Skill Development Cell named ‘প্রয়াসী’ in association with Calcutta Ekatma, where students of the College have been trained in Food Preservation Techniques by Jana Shikshan Sansthan, Ramakrishna Mission, Narendrapur, to learn to prepare jams, jellies, pickles and the like in order to enhance skills and learn to earn their own bread. Under the banner of ‘প্রয়াসী’, the College created a modest profit making association whereby students utilize their skills and sell products made by themselves. They have already showcased their products in various exhibitions on and off the campus — at Fairs and exhibitions organized by Mother Earth Foundation and Calcutta Ekatma.
