Transport Concession

TRANSPORT CONCESSION – Railways
The students who have to commute from suburban towns need to apply for certificates for availing concessions in railway fares on the shortest railway route from home to college. Outstation students can also apply for certificates for availing concessions in railway fares for occasional journeys to their hometowns only when such home addresses are recorded in the college admission form. Such certificates will be issued:

During long vacations and recesses (Puja and Summer).
After completion of the course of study.

TRANSPORT CONCESSION – Bus and Tram
Certificates for concession in fares for intra-city transport will be issued to students whose family income is less than Rs.10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) per month. Students have to apply immediately after admission with two passport-size recent photographs and income certificate of the guardian by the employer or competent authorities.

Concessions in college fees are given to deserving meritorious candidates having a weak financial condition. Applications to avail such concessions are to be submitted at the time of admission with relevant papers stating the financial condition of the student.
