Deshbandhu College fo Girls opened several hobby clubs to mark the Diamond Jubilee celebration in the college. The College Eco-Club is one such hobby club which restlessly endeavours with its students and Teacher members to do something for the environment. The club has the pleasure to work in collaboration with members of Prakiti Samsad. Recently on 3rd September, 2015 the club with its active students members embraced a larger responsibility of adopting Mango Saplings (Under Project name AMAR GACHCH) from Prakriti Samsad. Currently there are more than twenty-nine student members in the club along with teachers.
